Number stocked × assumed survival ÷ 100 × average weight ÷ 1,000. Survival is an assumption unless independently measured.

Pond water volume
Area in square metres × average water depth = cubic metres. Multiply by 1,000 for litres. An uneven or sloping pond needs a representative average depth.
